Kajaks runner Hall picks up the pace

Training partners Kim Hall and Christine Blanchette of the Richmond Kajaks both finished second in their respective age groups (20-24 and 35-39) at an eight kilometre race recently in Vancouver. Hall beat her previous best time by over two minutes to finish in 32 minutes, six seconds. Blachette came in at 34:29.

Leos line up for opener

A couple of Richmondites will be in the B.C. Lions starting lineup when the CFL team hosts Saskatchewan Friday at 7:30 p.m. at B.C. Place Stadium. Bobby Singh and Angus Reid will start on the offensive line.
