The salaries of leading city and school officials printed in the past few issues of The Review paint an interesting, if not painful, picture for some residents.
Whiel no one is questioning their commitment, time and no doubt dedicated effort to work in what is often a stressful environment
Few residents pull in those kind of wages; most of them are just happy to survive on double incomes with a roof over their heads.
It's a reality pill that is hard to swallow. Particularly in a time of budget constraints. Notices have gone up at community centre about looming cuts in hours of operations.
