Delta Arts Council's Ladner Gallery
Not Far From the Car by Rick Pelletier: a series of digital and traditional photographic images that explore casual landscapes in juxtaposition with found art; Nature Scenes and Textures by Ursula Easterbrook: photographic expression of nature and a search to find the emotional impact of color and shapes of light. Both exhibits run through July, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Mon.-Sat. Gallery is located at 4869 Delta St., Ladner.


Delta Museum and Archives
Recent Museum Acquisitions, to Aug. 23; Burns Bog: an exhibit of historic and current uses of the bog, to Aug. 30; Bicycling Through Delta's History: archival photos and a century's worth of historic bikes, to Sept. 6; Restored 1912 Tudor-style heritage building open for tours and programs Tues. to Sat. 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Sun. 2-4 p.m. Discover the shops and services available to early settlers. First Nations artifacts, agricultural, fishing and canning displays, and duck hunting exhibits. Admission by donation. All exhibits at the Delta Museum and Archives, 4858 Delta St. in Ladner. Gulf of Georgia Cannery
"Transforming Identities", contemporary art exhibit exploring the changing landscapes of B.C. coastal fishing communities, to July 30; "Working the Line" exhibit lets you see and feel what it was like to be in an operating cannery through displays, open daily, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at 12138 Fourth Ave. Info: 664-9009.


Richmond Art Gallery

Richmond Museum exhibits
From the Collection: unusual artifacts in the Museums permanent collection, to Aug. 31; "Millennium: Richmond Citizens' Viewpoints on the Year 2000", an exhibit comprised of contemporary photographs and narrative from interviews of local Richmond citizens such as Raymond Chan, dairy farmer Hugh McNair, and others, to Sept. 30. ZheeClay Arts
