Environmental Youth Corps
Richmond Environmental Youth Corps (EYC) recruiting teens to help out with local projects this summer. The EYC provides revitalizes environmentally sensitive areas and restores marshes. The EYC also educates and raises awareness among residents about environmental issues. Six paid positions are available. Submit resume and cover letter to Cambie Community Centre by June 5. Teen Bereavement Support Group
Group for those between 12 and 18 who have lost a friend or family member. Group meets at Caring Place, 7000 Minoru Blvd. 7-9 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of every month, led by a trained facilitator from the Richmond Hospice Association. Call 279-7140.
Teen Challenge Car Market
Shellmont Plaza, 11080 Williams Rd. every Saturday and Sunday 9-3 p.m. Sellers can donate $5 per day or $10 for two days. All proceeds go to B.C. Teen Challenge to fund anti-drug programs. Info: 241-4774.
