Celebrate A Life
Remember someone you love by lighting the Richmond Hospice Association and foundations Christmas tree. Opening ceremonies, Sunday, Dec. 6, 2 p.m., Richmond Centre Mall, northeast wing outside The Bay. Display continues from Dec. 6 until Dec. 20.


Community Meal
Anglican churches of Richmond host weekly community meals at St. Alban's Hall (7260 St. Alban's Rd.) every Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. to provide a safe, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in which to share a meal with children, youths and adults at no cost. All welcome.


Christmas Tree Display
Christmas trees decorated with fishing theme by students from Steveston, McMath and Hugh Boyd schools. Vote for your favourite trees. Trees to be donated to seniors' groups for holiday season. Christmas Tree Sales
Richmond-Georgia 5th, 10th and 25th Scout groups will be selling Christmas trees from Saturday, Dec. 5 to Sunday, Dec. 20 at South Arm United Church, corner of No. 3 Road and Steveston Highway.


Gingerbread House Display
Thirty-nine gingerbread houses created by local elementary schools and media organizations are on display in the lobby of the Radisson President Hotel and Suites, 8181 Cambie to Dec. 14.
