The following is The Review's weekly list of the names of those convicted of criminal code, narcotics control act and motor vehicle act offences in Richmond provincial court. In the case of error, a correction will be printed in this space.

March 29

Christopher L. Boyer, 24, was sentenced to eight months in jail and received a three-year term of probation for breaking and entering.




March 30

Tina Borbely, 33, received a suspended sentence and a one-year term of probation for theft under $5,000.

John Jay Grabher, 33, received a suspended sentence and a one-year term of probation for assault.

Brenda Lee Andrews, 40, received a conditional discharge and a one-year term of probation.




March 31

Ravinder Singh Uppal, 24, was fined $400, is prohibited from driving for one year, and was ordered to pay victim services $50 for impaired driving.




April 3

Gurpreet Sonia Bhamra, 23, received a conditional discharge, an eight-month term of probation and was ordered to pay victim services $50.

Shane Boutilier, 54, was fined $25 and received an eight-month term of probation for theft under $5,000.

Iain James Henderson, 19, received a one-year term of probation, a suspended sentence and was ordered to pay $850 in restitution for mischief to property valued at less than $5,000.

Peter Douglas McClement, 44, was fined $600, is prohibited from driving for one year, and was ordered to pay victim services $90 for impaired driving.

Lawrence Point, 35, was fined $200 and received a one-year term of probation for theft under $5,000.

That Thuan Ton, 26, was sentenced to 21 days in jail and was ordered to pay victim services $25 for theft under $5,000.

Michael Thomas Patrick, 35, was fined $600 and is prohibited from driving for one year for failing to provide a blood and/or breath sample.




April 5

Ann Margaret Hansen, 36, was fined $500 and was ordered to pay victim services $75 for possession of a controlled substance.

Kiyoshi Uyeyama, 72, was fined $200 and was ordered to pay victim services $30 for driving without due care and attention. (under the Motor Vehicle Act)
