  • Canada One - Provides articles as well as technical tips and practical guides, on every aspect of small business start-up and management. Includes guides to other resources and a calendar of business events.
  • Canadian Federation of Independent Business - An interactive forum for independent businesses in Canada. View information on legislative action, the latest business information research and member services.

  • Richmond Business Directory - is now available for free online. Search by business name or type, or download the entire directory. The directory will be updated several times a year and includes Google Map links.
  • Small Business BC - Includes a comprehensive directory of Web Sites for Small Businesses with links on how to start and operate a business in BC and Canada, market data/statistics, funding/financing, contacts/directories, regulatory/legal and import/export. Part of the Canada Business Services Centres (CBSC) which provide services and information designed to provide start-up assistance to help small businesses and encourage entrepreneurial growth across Canada.
  • Entrepreneurship (SEDI) - The Social and Enterprise Development Initiative (SEDI) promotes self-employment and enterprise development strategies specially targeted to disadvantaged people.
  • Canadian Youth Business Foundation - Provides technical support and other support services for young entrepreneurs. Also contains resource articles on all aspects of self-employment and small-business management.
