Virtual Citizenship Resource Centre

A free online resource to assist newcomers to prepare for Canadian citizenship while understanding Canadian values and responsibilities. This resources includes information on how to become a Canadian citizen, online workshops, self-study sessions, sample quizzes, one-on-one e-guidance, live chat support and more.

Immigrant Services Society of BC

Provides assistance to immigrants, refugees and visa students.

Mosaic BC

Multilingual non-profit organization that focusses on immigrant and refugee settlement and integration into Canadian society. Services include the micro-loans program for immigrants who are not able to access loans and financing options from traditional banks.


Social services, employment services, business & economic development services, training & education services and health services for immigrants.

Richmond Multicultural Concerns Society

Assists newcomers to settle in the Richmond area and provides public awareness on multiculturalism and cross cultural understanding.

DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society

Provides career services, language programs, family services, and interpretation and translation services.

U-Connect (Richmond Youth Services Agency)

Provides information on local community services, employment, education, sports and recreation and volunteer opportunities for youth in Richmond.

Richmond Chinese Community Society

Provides a variety of services and programs to the community, such as Fitness Dance, Ballroom Dance, Tai Chi adn Yuanji classes, Karaoke Singing, Taekwondo, Yoga, Mandarin Conversational, Chinese Brush Painting and Calligraphy, etc. available in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Richmond Chinese Parents' Association

Acts as a bridge and facilitator for those Chinese parents who might have a language barrier when communicating with the school system.

Pacific Immigrant Resources Society

Provide services and programs for immigrant women and their children.
