An intermediate care home, providing 24-hour daily care and supervision by health care professionals for adults who are unable to care for themselves. There is an active Resident Family Council and regular outings. To live in this care home, you can apply directly to Fraserview or you must be referred by Richmond Health Services Continuing Health (604-278-3361). Greater Vancouver Community Services Society is a non-profit agency represented in several different municipalities - Vancouver, Richmond and North Vancouver. It currently offers: Home Support Services and Community Living Services

The Community Living Department of the Greater Vancouver Community Services Society operates a number of homes for adults with developmental disabilities. The homes are established to provide long term support to each of the individuals, many of whom are former residents of Woodlands School. The homes are located in Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Richmond.

The GVCSS Home Support Department provides home support service to eligible clients who have difficulty looking after themselves due to age, illness, disabilities, or family problems. Service is available on a daily, weekly, monthly, and live-in basis. Clients can purchase services directly from the Society or be eligible for funding by the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, the Ministry for Children and Family Development and other organizations who will assess their eligibility for service. Services are available in a number of Chinese dialects, as well as many other languages.

A non-profit charitable organization with a tradition of caring for those in most need. Since 1898, the Health and Home Care Society of BC has been working to build healthy communities through health, wellness and community support services as a founding branch of the Victorian Order of Nurses. Programs include: Meals on Wheels, Chinese Meals on Wheels, the Family Respite Centre, the Community Integration Project and Health Promotion Services such as flu shots and health education.

They offer a homelike environment where seniors with mental or physical frailties receive temporary care, benefiting from the care of our dedicated nursing staff, advanced recreational and therapeutic programs and the opportunity to socialize with other guests, staff and volunteers.
Health Promotion Services
Offers customized workplace, home and community health programs to enhance the well-being of British Columbians. Our Registered Nurses serve 120 communities throughout BC, delivering a variety of services such as immunizations, health education, occupational health nursing and other services.

Our Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver more than 500 meals every weekday throughout Vancouver and Richmond. In addition to the hot, nutritious food, meal recipients benefit from a visit from our friendly volunteers and an informal check on their safety. Minoru Residence

Minoru Residence is an extended care unit that provides 24-hour professional nursing care, together with regular and ongoing medical supervision for individuals who have a high level of need for care. It is located in downtown Richmond at 6111 Minoru Boulevard. In total Minoru Residence houses 250 beds: 229 extended care beds, 20 bridging beds and 1 respite bed.

Pinegrove Place is a 75-bed intermediate care facility which includes an 18-bed Alzheimer's Special Care Unit. Programs are designed to be recreational and therapeutic to enhance the lives of the residents who live at Pinegrove Place. An accredited 93-bed intermediate long term care facility with a 19 bed special care unit. A caring and knowledgeable staff, including a dietitian, social worker, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, volunteer coordinator, music therapist, nurse practitioner, and chaplain, practice a multi-disciplinary team approach to nursing. 24-hour nursing care is provided, as well as diversified leisure programs. To live in this care home, you must be referred by Richmond Health Services Continuing Health.

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is a non-partisan citizen organization for the promotion of the well-being of Canadians and new immigrants and their participation in a just, equitable, and culturally diverse society through the provision of services, community development and advocacy. Founded in 1973 and incorporated as a not-for-profit charitable organization in 1974. Beginning as an agency providing settlement service to Chinese immigrants, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has developed into a multi-service organization offering a comprehensive range of services to both new immigrants and long-time residents alike, whether they are of Chinese or non-Chinese origin.

The Home comprises of 98 ensuite rooms for seniors inside five separate family units. It allows residents to remain in the same accommodation during a time in life when moves are not only disruptive but detrimental to health. The Adult Day Care Centre in the same building provides professional service to those residing at home who require day care services.

Offers care in the community for people who have health problems. Call to make an appointment to have your health care needs reviewed or just to get more information. If you would like, a relative or friend can phone for you. There will be a visit to discuss your health care needs and the support you get from family and friends.

Integrated Hospice Palliative Care Services

The Integrated Hospice Palliative Care program provides end of life care throughout the patients' journey. Staff follow the client from their homes through to the palliative care unit to the hospice or in residential care. Clients in need of this service can call and a clinical consult team member will be in contact with them. The clinical consult team is made up of a social worker, clinical nurse specialist and clinical program manager (a physician who specializes in palliative care).

Volunteer Richmond Information Services works in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health to provide shopping assistance for seniors and others with chronic health problems. The Shop-by-Phone service is for those who cannot get out to shop for their groceries. Volunteers also assist Continuing Health clients with group shopping or weekly in-person shopping at various locations.
