A non-profit organization founded in 2001 by a group of businessmen/women to promote benevolence, relief and care for people, the community and the future. Organizes an annual Walk for Health to benefit the Richmond Hospital Foundation and carries out other charitable endeavours.

CCGA-P, Unit 10 - Richmond operates two Search and Rescue vessels out of Steveston and the North Arm of the Fraser River. Volunteer crewmembers dedicate their time to provide 24-hour Marine Search and Rescue along the Fraser River and out into the Strait of Georgia. In a rotation of crews, members are expected during their one-week rotation to remain within fifteen minutes of the boats to ensure a quick, dedicated response to marine emergencies. Unit 10 - Richmond is routinely one of the busiest Search and Rescue Units in the Pacific Region. It is considered one of the primary response vessels for the Vancouver International Airport in the event of an aircraft going down in the surrounding waters.

The Canadian Federation of University Women Richmond meets monthly in the Kinsmen Pavilion at the Richmond Nature Park. Each general meeting features a short business meeting and a speaker. In addition, the club has a wide variety of interest groups and committees which meet weekly or monthly in members' homes or in the community. Membership in CFUW - Richmond is open to any woman who holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university or college with international accreditation or a diploma in a field which is now degree granting. There is also an Associate Membership for women who do not meet the qualifications required for full membership, but who have earned a diploma or certificate requiring at least two years of post-secondary education.

A public charitable community foundation that accepts donations held as invested capital in permanent endowment funds. The income is distributed as grants to Richmond charitable organizations for projects and services benefiting the citizens of Richmond including, but not limited to, arts, culture, heritage, seniors, youth, social services, health, the environment and as scholarships to Richmond Students. Letters of Interest for grants are accepted year round, scholarship applications are accepted in early spring. Therapeutic day program for frail seniors and cognitively or physically impaired adults. Program includes social and recreational activities, health monitoring, and personal care. Other health-related services such as podiatry are also available. Lunch and refreshments are provided at a nominal cost. Also offers respite care and support to help caregivers continue to care for their family members at home. Referral through the VCHA Continuing Care Program; also accepts private clients. Hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday.

A non-profit organization committed to providing social activities for its members, this veterans group also sponsors numerous community events and raises funds for various and numerous charities in the Richmond area. It is the host branch for the Richmond Poppy Fund, which assists Canadian and Commonwealth veterans and their families in times of need. The Royal Canadian Legion has served veterans throughout Canada for the past 80 years. Richmond Branch #291 was formed in 2002 as a result of the amalgamation of Richmond Legions #5 and #209.

In the past, contributions have gone to the Richmond Food Bank, the Katrina Fund, the Tsunami Fund, the Delta Hospital, and the Vancouver Rape Relief, Women's Shelter and the Canuck Place.
