This new location offers education and adoption of animals in need of shelter and care.

A national program for young Canadians ages 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of challenging and rewarding activities, and learning more about the Canadian Forces. There are three elements in the cadet program: air, army and sea. While cadets will learn about the Canadian Forces, they are not members of military and are not expected to join. Cadets are encouraged to become active, responsible members of their communities. They learn valuable life and work skills like teamwork, leadership, and citizenship. Cadets also reap the personal benefits of increased self-confidence and physical fitness, learning how to take initiative and make decisions. Registration begins in September of every year.

The Vancouver Chapter of the CAHS meets on the second Tuesday of the month, except in July and August, in the Board Room on the First Floor of the Richmond Cultural Centre at 7:00pm. Visitors are welcome.

Dedicated to the preservation, restoration, collection and enjoyment of antique radios and related items, the CVRS is a non-profit society run solely by volunteers. Proceeds from fundraising activities and membership fees are used to produce and distribute the publication, Canadian Vintage Radios, and to promoting this hobby.

The club meets the second Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Richmond (Brighouse) Library (Painting Room) (100 - 7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond). Annual membership fee is $35.

The Canadian Federation of University Women Richmond meets monthly in the Kinsmen Pavilion at the Richmond Nature Park. Each general meeting features a short business meeting and a speaker. In addition, the club has a wide variety of interest groups and committees which meet weekly or monthly in members' homes or in the community. Membership in CFUW - Richmond is open to any woman who holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university or college with international accreditation or a diploma in a field which is now degree granting. There is also an Associate Membership for women who do not meet the qualifications required for full membership, but who have earned a diploma or certificate requiring at least two years of post-secondary education.

The mission of the Land Force Western Area Deployment Support Group is to provide an enhanced standardized bilingual level of support for Canadian Forces Defence Team families going through long deployments or long periods of absence. They offer referrals to military and civil services, helpful information, periodic reunions and free mail service during deployment.

Aims to foster and preserve Scottish Culture with highland dancing.

A Canada-wide organization of volunteer instructors offering boating safety courses, including power and sail navigation courses as well as Canadian Coast Guard accredited boating courses, leading to the Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC), popularly known as the Boat License and the Canadian Power & Sail Squadron Boating course beginning in September 2009 and again in January 2010. CPS also offers GPS, VHF Marine Radio courses leading to the Restricted Operator Certificate, ROC (M), which includes the new Digital Selective Calling endorsement (DSC and GMDSS) and Marine Electronics.

Directed by Lorraine Grescoe, the Fraser River Fiddlers are a group of young fiddlers with a love for the toe-tapping music that has been handed down from early pioneers -- the jigs, reels, waltzes, and great train music. Honorarium suggested, minimum of $75.

A social organization of former Kinsmen Club members, the group supports the Kinsmen but does not itself engage in service activities. Meets on the second Wednesday of the month.

Projects of the Kiwanis Club of Richmond include seniors' housing, single parents continuing education, elementary school exchange projects, Youth 4 H, Christmas hampers, the painting of the maternity wards at RGH, and many more community projects throughout the year. Families and loved ones of Canadian military personnel serving on operations can call the Mission Information Line (MIL) to receive reliable and comprehensive information on Canadian Forces missions, as well as kind and dependable support from Line counselors. The Line is a 24-hour toll-free bilingual service and Line personnel are available during working hours.

Men's Group
The Men's Group gathers for monthly breakfast meetings with outings, and fellowship. All men of the congregation are invited to participate on the first Saturday morning of each month.

For those who want to garden but do not have space themselves, the association has approximately 130 garden plots, 20ft x 50 ft, with water for rental at $50.00 per year. Membership fee is $5.00 for the first year, $1.00 per year for subsequent years. The plots can be found at 10711 Palmberg Road, between 5th and 6th Road.

The club meets formally at 7:30pm on the last Wednesday of the month, between September and May, and informally every Saturday morning between 10:30 and 12:00 at the Landsdowne Mall food court. The club also has a regular Tuesday evening net at 7:00pm.

Therapeutic day program for frail seniors and cognitively or physically impaired adults. Program includes social and recreational activities, health monitoring, and personal care. A non-profit organization that raises funds to support the operational and capital costs of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, Unit 10 - Richmond.

Promotes through education and aims to encourage the Right to Life presence in the community. Provides speakers, videos, books and pamphlets on life issues. Also networks with other groups to assist women in crisis pregnancy and those suffering from post abortion trauma. Community displays to present life-friendly materials.

A fishing and hunting club with strong interests in target shooting, including archery and airgun. Canadian firearms safety training course instruction is offered. The Club's temporary range is located in the Sportstown BC building at 4991 No. 5 Rd., between Cambie and Westminster Hwy. in Richmond. Includes an Archery range with champion archers to teach and assist. Equipment is available on site for those not having their own. An air gun/rifle range is at the same location. Until the construction of its new range is completed, the Club cannot accommodate handgun and .22 rifle shooting. A non-profit organization committed to providing social activities for its members, this veterans group also sponsors numerous community events and raises funds for various and numerous charities in the Richmond area. It is the host branch for the Richmond Poppy Fund, which assists Canadian and Commonwealth veterans and their families in times of need. The Royal Canadian Legion has served veterans throughout Canada for the past 80 years. Richmond Branch #291 was formed in 2002 as a result of the amalgamation of Richmond Legions #5 and #209.

Provides programs with an outdoor orientation to help youth and young adults develop their characters as resourceful and responsible members of the community by providing opportunities and guidance for their mental, physical, social and spiritual development and is open to both boys and girls.
