Community Art Wall

Richmond Public Library (RPL) is happy to announce the addition of a Community Art Wall at the Brighouse branch. The Art Wall is a collaborative display space for community members to share their culture, stories and experience through art, facilitating cross-cultural exchange and community connection.

Art will be featured on an eight-week rotation. Interested artists are welcome to submit their art for consideration.

Click here to submit your art for consideration. You may also download the Expression of Interest form and submit the completed form by email or in-person at any RPL branch.

Meet the Artists

Stories of Home: Past and Present

What do you miss from home? What do you love about your new home? Join the artists from the Stories of Home – Past and Present project as they host storytelling circles to discuss and share their artwork through the Library’s Community Art Wall. Registered guests will join small storytelling circles and participate in informal conversations about home, culture and community. This program is presented in partnership with Public Art Richmond and Richmond Multicultural Community Services.
