Friends of the Richmond Library

The Friends of the Richmond Library (FOL) is a volunteer-based community organization based in Richmond that advocates for and supports Richmond Public Library. They promote library services, raise funds through activities like book sales and encourage community use of the library’s resources.

About Us

The group was founded in 1972 to ensure better library service and donates significant funds to the library on an annual basis.

 

Anyone is welcome to become a Friend of the Richmond Library by paying a small yearly fee; all proceeds go directly to support the advocacy work done by the Friends.

Executive

The Friends of the Richmond Public Library are advocates and supporters of library services in Richmond, BC. ​A yearly membership costs $5, with all proceeds directly supporting the Friends of the Richmond Library.

Book Sales

The Friends of the Library book store (130-11590 Cambie Road) is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Donations of used books in good condition are also accepted at this location during operational hours.
