PLEASE NOTE
- Richmond Public Library reserves the right to decline requests depending on operational needs.
- All events and programs at the library are free and open to all members of the public. An active library card (or community library card) may be required for registration.
- Program length is between 60-90 minutes, room capacity is 35-40 in theatre style seating.
- Partnership requests are reviewed every 2 weeks by staff and everyone who submits a request will be contacted.
- Library staff will get back to you to let you know if your proposal is accepted and provide further details.

When does Richmond Public Library plan its program schedule?
Richmond Public Library plans approximately 4 months in advance and we break up our calendar year into four quarters:
- Q1 January – March
- Q2 April – June
- Q3 July – September
- Q4 October – December
Do partners need a Richmond Public Library card?
All partners are encouraged to already hold or to obtain a Richmond Public Library card.
Can I rent a room at Richmond Public Library for private events or meetings?
No, Richmond Public Library does not rent rooms for presentations, private group meetings, or workshops.
